Smart IT have just launched their Hosted Email Security package. The package offers AntiVirus, AntiSpam, AntiPhishing and up to 4 backup mail servers for your email.

Your normal email is redirected to our 4 security servers that are loaded with leading security software packages, regular updated and maintained by in house IT professionals. These servers filter your email for viruses, spam and other nasties before passing only clean email to your own in-house servers.

If you servers cannot be reached for some reason, for example an update is being performed, the power has gone off, or the internet is down, our servers will hold your email for up to 5 days until your server does come back on line at which point we will pass on all the email you have received during that time.

This service normally only available to very large corporation’s costs from just £20 per month for all your email accounts. The overall cost of using a hosted service is normally far less than hosting your own email security solution, and gives the benefit of 4 backup servers.
