Smart IT partnered with Cedarwood Trust to transform their overgrown gardens. After a full day of grueling work the Smart IT team managed to clear out the overgrown sections ready for Cedarwood to transform them into a more appealing community space. This partnership is a shining example of how local businesses can make a meaningful difference when joining forces with vital community organisations.

Smart IT are excited to further deepen our engagement with Cedarwood Trust and continue making a positive and lasting impact on our community.

Andy Urwin, Cedarwood Trust’s Operations Manager conveyed these words of appreciation:

On behalf of Cedarwood and myself, I would like to thank you and the team for the incredible work you’ve done in our gardens.  You, Andrew, Kelvyn, Jack and Steven all worked hard throughout the day and demonstrated great willingness to tackle the job at hand. 

Keeping the grounds in good order has been a herculean task that we have really struggled to keep on top of.  The work you’ve done today has brought a focus to the gardens that we can hopefully build upon and enhance.  This will have knock-on effects on our customers and will lift the feel of the local environment. 

We depend a lot on volunteers, whether it’s a couple of hours a week, or a one-off full day.  Without such help, we would not be able to support the local community in the way that we do. 

So, thanks again to you all – it really has made a difference to our gardens, the centre, and to the local community.
